I had a wonderful stay at Imagine Marco. The rooms were gorgeous and very comfortable, although they were not serviced throughout my 11-day stay. The service was a mixed bag, with some staff being great and offering amazing customer service while others were not very helpful or accommodating. The location was great for exploring, with easy access to supermarkets, Southbank, and the city, although it was not the best for just hanging out comfortably. The dining options were convenient, allowing me to make my own continental breakfast, but they were not exactly as advertised. The facilities were decent overall.
The hotel is in a convenient spot, with close proximity to Southgate promenade and Flinders Station. The rooms were spacious and nicely located, though there was a persistent cigarette smell likely from the previous guest. Noise from the Burnley Tunnel traffic could be disruptive for rooms facing the freeway or bay.
